HP 3Com VCX Connect IP Telephony

As the first and one of the most successful vendors in the commercial IP telephony market, 3Com has established itself as one of the best selling IP phone solutions available to small and medium businesses. Just a few years later, ahead of anyone in the industry, they unveiled the first pure SIP enterprise PBX, the VCX.  Designed to scale to tens of thousands of users, the VCX Enterprise features a replicated database  that far surpasses certain well known vendor's remote site survivability.  Central Virginia Datacomm is proud to offer the latest incarnation of the VCX, the VCX Connect, bringing the enterprise feature set down to a lower price point for smaller organizations, yet with a path to grow to VCX Enterprise.

Unified messaging is standard, and on the same box!  Most other vendor solutions require separate systems for unified messaging and cost many thousands more, plus leave you with a Windows server to patch and manage - a whole extra administrative burden and point of failure.  The VCX offers the only redundant IP messaging solution in the industry with multiple message stores.

This 1U IP PBX platform delivers exceptionally cost-effective and easy to administer IP telephony services to smaller enterprises, providing the latest in VoIP technology at an aggressive price.   With optional redundant power supplies and hard drives and an optional fully redundant secondary server duplicates all infromation, including dial plan, messaging, and more.  

VCX Connect 200

VCX Connect MSR Series

Newest in the series is VCX offered as a module for their MSR series routers. This is the most affordable way to own a VCX Connect, plus providing the ability to have routing, switching, firewall, VPN, and PBX all in one box, especially nice for branch offices.

True, Total Redundancy

There are a few solutions in this market space with call process redundancy.  None do it like the VCX Connect.  Not only do you get full call process redundancy but the messaging system is also fully redundant , with continuous updates between chassis. And it's affordable! The phones themselves can use either call processor or go directly to a gateway. 

Easy Telecommuter and Branch Office Support

As long as you have broadband Internet access available, Central Virginia Datacomm can configure remote access to the PBX from a hard or soft phone. Work from home and be "on" the phone system, reachable by extension number. Combined with leading call center packages, you can enjoy the tremendous cost savings of virtual office space for call center functions, the biggest trend for call center operations that is reaping huge savings.

For larger deployments of teleworkers we recommend the IP Telecommuting Module, which allows for easy connectivity of 3Com IP phones at home offices behind broadband gateways without requiring special equipment.  It also allows for easier set up at the home office, so SIP features don't have to be configured on your main firewall. 

Global Directory for Multiple Systems

You can connect multiple VCX Connect systems and have all users in one global directory.  Furthermore, you can configure global voicemail services for VCX Connect systems. One VCX Connect server acts as the Global Voicemail Central Server to provide voicemail services for users on multiple VCX Connect sites.  Many PBXs allow you to dial between multiple chassis. This takes it much, much further.
